Market Drivers

Three Forces Converging

Each one alone is a tailwind. Together they create a Commercial Competitiveness Gap. Sustainability pledges won't solve this. This is an Innovation Imperative — and an irrefutable business mandate.

Landfill Bans for Organic Waste

Active in CAN, US & EU. Food processors with no compliant pathways face fines, reputational damage and stranded waste streams. The clock ticks. Costs rise. Options are running out.

Increasing Disposal Costs

Tipping fees, labour, and carbon pricing will double disposal costs within four years. Disposal costs destroy more value than production earns in margins. Every ton hauled away compounds the loss.

Scope 3 & CO₂e Mandates

EU CSRD Scope 3 mandates now cascade directly to Canadian food exporters. Auditable CO₂e data is no longer optional — it's a procurement condition.

The Zero-Return of Disposal

Canadian food producers first pay to produce it. Then pay to throw some away. IHT helps reduce your pain with an asset light, data-enabled solution that eliminates transportation costs while improving GHG and Carbon Compliance.

Our Upcycling Solution

We are a simple circular solution. Organic waste enters. Three high-value outputs emerge. Every cycle closes the loop. And the magic is done by Black Soldier Fly Larvae.

The Bugs4Rent™ Bioconversion Technology

The AgriFood sector destroys more value in disposal than it earns in margins. Infinite Harvest Technologies delivers a turn-key modular waste service, delivered on-site, in remotely monitored biodigestion units.

Our Clean Technology is a hardware-data-biology based solution. Each biodigester processes 20T/month, scalable to a 60–120T site capacity. We plug seamlessly into your food production processes. Our remote monitoring system collects real-time GHG data required for Canadian food exporters to meet CO₂e compliance, customer preferences, and EU CSRD mandates.

IHT's 6-Stage Process

The Bugs4Rent™ solution eliminates off-site transport and tipping fees — improving carbon compliance with every cycle. Our 6-stage biodigestion process results in waste elimination, verified data streams and upcycled insect products. Operated within our patented biodigesters, installed at your location, and run as a fully-managed Hardware-as-a-Service, with an optional data subscription package. This is how it works:

Organic Waste Validation

Prior to on-site deployment, an off-site trial will validate your waste's viability as a BSFL feedstock and maps the optimal conversion protocol for your specific waste stream. Organic byproducts from your operation — trims, offgrades, distribution losses, expired ingredients, processing by-products — are then prepared and loaded directly into the Biodigester.

Who We Serve

Built for Ontario AgriFood operators

Six high-volume waste segments where on-site biodigestion delivers immediate cost savings and generates auditable compliance data.

VEGGIES

Greenhouses

Cuttings, culls and offgrades of veggies, herbs and ornamentals. High organic volumes. Rising GHG reporting requirements from retail buyers. Landfill bans in effect and recent tipping fee increases. Validated with Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers (OGVG).

BEER

Craft Brewers

Spent grain and brewing by-products. High volume organics with predictable weekly cycles. Disposal costs compress thin production margins. Sustainable operations are a brand asset and a supply chain requirement. Validated with Bench Brewing Company.

FRUIT

Grocery Retailers

Perishable losses from storage failures, inventory write-offs and cold chain breakdowns push organic waste disposal costs both upstream and downstream. Retailers are making auditable Scope 3 data a procurement condition for the entire supply chain. On-site bioconversion turns a disposal liability into both cost savings and a compliance data asset.

FOOD

Food Manufacturers

Expired ingredients, off-spec raw materials and manufacturing losses. Highest-cost disposal stream. Steepest carbon liability. Validated in trials with expired bulk ingredients and processing by-products including peels, pulps, and coffee grounds.

FEED

Animal Feed Manufacturers

Ingredients losses, off-spec materials, and production residuals. Disposal costs erode margins. Upcycling your disposal liability into high-density insect protein is the ultimate 'infinite harvest'. Validated in trials with expired petfood and feed ingredients. Insect protein validated by the Canadian Feed Research Centre.

GRAINS

Field Crop Producers

Grade-outs, climate damage, and harvest waste from fruit, vegetable and grain production. Think bioconversion and nutrient capture rather than disposal — better than land application, composting or crop write-offs. Let's upcycle into high-density agricultural inputs (soil amendments and animal protein). Validated with Vineland Research and Innovation Centre and ongoing mycotoxin research with AAFC.

Compare Alternatives

Conventional vs Modular

The Industry bets Billions on Centralized Disposal — we are winning with Modular. IHT provides mid-market waste producers with an asset light, data-enabled solution that eliminates transportation costs and improves GHG and Carbon Compliance. Compare your current disposal method to ours.
